Middletown Senior Center October Events
Middletown's Senior Center welcomes Middletown residents 60 and older to become members. A variety of special events, shopping excursions, bus trips and weekly activities are offered monthly. Transportation is available to registered members by reservation. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Events are held in the East Wing unless otherwise noted. Call 732-615-2265 for more information.

Pizza & Movie
Have pizza and a drink for $3 at 11:30 am. Free movie begins at noon. Pre-register.

Flu Clinic

The Flu Clinic is held in conjunction with the Middletown Health Department. Registration required Limited spots are available. Call 732-615-2265.

Christmas Party Tickets
Tickets for the December 4th Christmas Party at the Shore Casino go on sale. Lunch is choice of roast pork, lemon sole or chicken parmesan.

Join Donna Prawetz for an Avon fragrance workshop. Workshop includes samples and a raffle.

Halloween Birthday Party
Celebrate October birthdays with a costume contest, light refreshments and entertainment.

Monday, October 29, 9:15 am
Crocheting Group
Please bring your own supplies. Donations of yarn or supplies, plain gift bags, lap blankets and shawls appreciated. Items are given to members who are sick and/or recuperating from an operation. Meet in the Senior Center Library.

Tuesday, October 30, noon
Trick or Treat
Local pre-school students will be trick or treating at the Senior Center. Bring candy to share with the children if you’d like to participate. Bingo follows at 1:00 pm.

Saturday, November 3, 1:00-4:00 pm
Homecoming Dance
Party with the Middletown High School North Key Club. Admission is a non-perishable item for the Middletown Food Pantry. A Homecoming King & Queen will be crowned during the dance. Register by October 31.

Transportation Trips
Upcoming trips include the Seastreak Boat Ride on Wed, Oct. 17; and Stardust at Lakeside Manor on Thurs, Nov. 8. Monthly trips to Atlantic City are also offered.  Check with the Transportation Coordinator for costs and start dates for ticket sales.

Nutrition Center
The Nutrition Center is operated by Interfaith Neighbors and located at the Senior Center. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Daily lunch is $2.50 donation and can be ordered 24 hours in advance. Donations fund Meals on Wheels Program.
